Daniel Vogl was born in Cham, Germany in 1991. He lives and works in Coburg.
He studied photojournalism & documentary photography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover and photography at the Royal Academy of Arts The Hague.
In his documentary work, he focuses on scientific topics and the documentation of stories that relate to social structures, historical backgrounds and ecological contexts.
He was nominated for the Kassel Dummy Award 2018 and the New Talent Award 18/1. His photographs were shown in group exhibitions in Hanover and The Hague. One of his photo books has been exhibited internationally at places such as PhotoIreland Festival, Triennale der Photographie Hamburg, FotoLeggendo, Organ Vida - International Photography Festival, Photobook Week Aarhus and Tokyo Art Book Fair.
